CONCRETE JUNGLE
Written by Oliver Award Winning writter Bola Agbaje Concrete Jungle is a raw and unflinching exploration of the everyday lives of young people growing up in London, where survival often takes precedence over dreams.
Set against a backdrop of tower blocks, surveillance cameras, and over-policed streets, the project exposes the constant pressure of systemic inequality. Following the lives of young people shaped by the impacts of police brutality, an education system that promises opportunity but delivered neglect, and the possiblity of most careers remaining firmly out of reach.
Caught between resilience and despair, the youth of Concrete Jungle navigate a city that demands strength while offering little protection, revealing the human cost of a society that has normalised their struggle and long stopped listening.
