CONCRETE JUNGLE

RIVERSIDE STUDIOS

by Bola Agbaje

One year on from the UK riots, the government is on the defence, British society is becoming ever more fragmentised and Thatcher's outcry that 'there is no such thing as society' is finally a modern day reality.

Created as a response to the riots and the government and media reaction The aim was to find the truth behind the statistics and sensationalised headlines and to trigger change.

Based on months of interviews with politicians, gang leaders, teenagers, prisoners, and the next generation of ‘Elders’. Our aim is to avoid the sensationalism of the media and bring the truth to the stage.
